Admission notes
- While this is not an admission requirement to the program, students planning to undertake the Flight Operations Major will have to hold a Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, as this is one of the regulatory requirements to hold a Commercial Pilot Licence.
- It is highly recommended that students investigate their ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and/or pass all required security checks as some organisations such as airports require employees to satisfy security clearances as a condition of employment.
- Appropriate advice will be provided to students during their first academic year. | Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years | For additional information about the admissions criteria for the University of Southern Queensland and for this course, refer to UniSQ's website.
